The PLAY (Promoting Lively and Active Youth) Foundation of Northwest Wisconsin is a non-profit organization founded to fight childhood obesity through the facilitation of programs that educate and encourage local youth to make healthy life choices. PLAY developed the Kids in Motion program for the Rice Lake public school system and St. Joseph’s parochial school system. The group also sponsors the PLAY Youth Run and volunteers at local youth fitness activities. PLAY is funded by the Get Runnin Relay, various corporate sponsors and private donations.
