The 3rd Annual Get Runnin Relay will be held at the Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary in beautiful Washburn County, Wisconsin on Saturday, September 27th, 2008. This 6-person team event covers rolling terrain that features a mixture of dirt trails, gravel and paved roads. It’s a scenic run with breathtaking fall colors and abundant wildlife. New Photos Added: 2nd Annual Relay (September, 2007) The PLAY (Promoting Lively and Active Youth) Foundation of Northwest Wisconsin is a non-profit organization founded to fight childhood obesity through the facilitation of programs that educate and encourage local youth to make healthy life choices. One of the Foundation’s first events planned is a progressive marathon for Rice Lake area youth beginning in the Spring of 2008 which will culminate in a public recognition ceremony in June. The Play Foundation is funded by the Get Runnin Relay, various corporate sponsors and private donations. | ||||||||||||
